Welcome to Our Kings Showcase

Here you can get to know a little about each of our Studs, past and present, as well as get some insight into our future plans.  We are very proud of our Siberian Cat studs and we know they will produce outstanding kittens and steal hearts in the show ring.

Currently we only have one active King but we plan to augment our lines with some quality traditional lines. Our goal is to marry our foundation and US lines with some of the best that Russia has to offer. We are looking for the more wild type of the forest cat and we are moving away from the more refined look that is currently popular here in the United States.

Because of this we have chosen to move away from the color-point lines as well and we will be testing our breeding stock to determine any carriers. Neva Masquerades are gorgeous cats but to us they do not represent a true forest cat.

temperament, excellent coat and looks like a silver version of his grandfather Boris.  He is out of our Rare Russian Import Foundation Lines as denoted by his last name of SunFire.  He gets the SunFire name from his mother who is registered as a foundation cat through TICA thanks to her mother who was a feral cat in Russia that met the breed standard in every way. Sonja carries on her legacy and is an amazing and glorious, and quite rare, red solid female, with the best Siberian coat we’d ever seen (until our Cica Cats!), luminous round eyes, excellent Siberian type, and a sweetheart disposition that she has passed down through the generations.  Aslan has inherited much of his mom's great charms and passes them onto his children. Indeed his daughter out of his first litter, Boudicca, is a spitting image of his grandmother SunFire of Pendraig and remarkably similar to her own grandmother Sonja. We expect great things out of her.

Aslan enjoyed the first shows he went to but unfortunately he pines over the ladies so badly we cannot keep him in show condition until he is neutered which we plan to do in the next year or so. Though he is a fantastic producer we want to enjoy him as a pet and let him have full run of the house which we cannot right now because he, like many intact males, has some bad habits.

Aslan has been tested and he is negative for Neva or Colorpoint expression. We have retained his daughter Dica and now his son Favst for our breeding program. These two will help to carry on our exclusive foundation line. We will be altering Aslan so he can retire to life as a pet with us and we hope a lovely show Alter in TICA. He, along with his mother Sonja, will stay with us because of the special place they have in our hearts. They are both symbols too of my great struggles I have faced in my life, the difficult and painful experiences, and a symbol of the triumph that is now my life with my loving husband and son.

Our stunning and long awaited stud muffin! He has it all. Stunning good looks, wonderful hunky yet cuddly attitude and he even enjoys eating the honeydew melon our 9 month old son throws to him from the high chair.

He is a gentleman and is excellent around our son. He also has the outstanding type and health we've come to expect from Maria's cats at Cica. He is an important step towards embracing the true Traditional Siberian Cat and our endeavors to help preserve them as a natural forest cat breed. He has absolutely no color-point in his back ground and is the product of years of careful study, research and beeding by Cica Cattery.

Unfortunately we haven't taken any new photos of him but we plan to get him to see a photographer soon! We look forward to his kittens and to many years showing and loving him. Thank you Maria for intrusting us with this amazing cat.

He went to his first CFA show and won 6 winners Ribbons so he can now be called Champion! =) Congratulations to our Grisha and to his breeder Maria.
