But besides the genetics we also raise our cats and kittens using the best diet possible which is mostly raw (grassfed/pastured meats) combined with quality grain-free canned products and some dry.

    We feed our cats a combination diet so that whatever diet you choose in your home the kittens will be accustomed to eating it. We do require that you continue to feed your cat quality products and we supply you with lists, recipes and directions as well as email or phone support if you need it.

    You can choose between an all commercial diet (dry kibble and canned foods that are grain free), a combination of that and raw, or 100% raw based on our balanced recipe. We do hope all of our kitten homes will feed our raw diet but we know it's not realistic for everyone and we're here to help you with alternatives. Please refer to our Kitten Care Book (coming soon) or the Art of Raising a Kitten section of this web site.

    We stand fully behind each and every one of our kittens and we provide each kitten buyer a full benefits package with their kitten that includes up to a 12 year genetic guarantee, if you follow our Ideal Diet & Care Program, and one of the best health guarantees even if you choose to feed the commercial diet.     Our first litter out of the precious import and foundation bloodlines, Sonja was a stunning and adorable kitten that was well balanced and very "typey". Her coloring is rare red solid and very unique. She also has very rare and stunning green eyes rarely, if never seen, in red Siberians. She has grown into a gorgeous adult with the most loving and attentive personality to be found in a cat. She has produced a gorgeous litter that included our new additions to our breeding program.

    Sonja is full of life, spunk and affection. She has to be a part of everything that is going on, no matter who is doing what or why. She helps with all the chores by supervising and is always available for snuggles and pets if we should need something to do. If ever I am upset she is always there to comfort and console me. She truly is an angel in cat's clothing.

      Our prices are competitive with other quality Siberian kitten breeders. Our prices include so much more. Our Pendraig Kitten Care Package includes benefits** that no other Siberian breeder provides:

      Benefits Package

      1. Health Guarantee - Up to a 12 year health guarantee* is available if you choose our Ideal Diet & Care Plan. Even if you choose the General Plan we offer one of the best health guarantees you will find anywhere. Our health guarantee includes genetic & FIP*** specific guarantees. These plans apply to pet homes only. Breeder & Show cat guarantees offered on a case by case basis.
      2. Spay/Neuter Surgery - Depending on the local prices at your vet this surgery can cost easily $400. We include this service in the purchase price of your kitten so there aren't extra large expenses later. And because the surgery is done here we can be sure it's done right, we know what to look for as far as problems or complications (which are rare) and we have a vet that is very experienced doing this procedure on younger cats.
      3. Microchip - This life saving device can cost at least $75 at your vet but we include it in the purchase price, and we pay to register the chip too. Why do we do this? Because cats are notoriously hard to recover if they do get lost, run away or are stolen. Tattoos are hard to see and shelter workers may not find them but it has become routine to scan for a chip. And the chip has a unique id number that will direct them to you and to the breeder. That way even if you are away we will be here to contact when/if someone finds your beloved pet. This is the best protection available to make sure your cat is returned to you.
      4. Kitten Care Kit - We start you off with various toys, a scratching pad, a brush, and at least one of the natural cat care books we recommend. Also for local pick up you will receive a free bag of World's Best Cat Litter*, a cannister of the amazing pet mess clean up produce Clean+Green*. In your kitten packet (new for 2012) you will receive a brochure for Embrace Pet Insurance available for $1 for the first month of ownership, copies of the pedigrees of both parents, photos and more in a folder that is easy to take with you to the vet or traveling.. All of this is included in the purchase price.
      5. Our expertise and advice for the life of your kitty - That's right, we are here for you long after the sale. Have a question? Have a worry? Did the cat eat something and the vet's closed? We will try to help! We are not veterinarians but our long time experience with cats and this breed is here for you and your kitty. We won't leave you hanging out in the cold.
      6. CFA and/or TICA Papers - You know you are getting a purebred, registered, traditional and authentic Siberian Cat because you will have the papers to prove it. You will also receive a copy of the parent's pedigrees in our new kitten booklets.
      7. Medical History - All kittens will receive a final exam before leaving our cattery. The veterinarian makes notes on a paper just for you indicating that a full health exam was performed. Each litter is routinely dewormed and will also be checked before leaving for any parasites. Each mother is checked for FIV/FeLV once per year. You will be provided a list of when and what medical procedures were done to pass onto your vet including immunizations. We will also provide a list of what procedures are next, when they should be done and a number to call if you have any questions.

        ***FIP has no definitive test for diagnosis except by necropsy. Stress is the major cause of FIP in cats and we do everything in our power to minimize stress especially high levels of stress. Do the inherent high stress nature of show and breeder homes the FIP guarantee is not offered.
